Who Is Saint Germain?

Saint Germain is the Ascended Master of the Violet Ray, the Ray of freedom, mercy, forgiveness and alchemy. He carries the Violet Flame, a living fire of God-light that transmutes every pattern held in density back into its original purity.

Mount Shasta has been his home on Earth for generations. In 1930 Guy Ballard wrote of meeting Saint Germain on the mountain, and seekers have walked her forest in his presence ever since. Paul of Venus has carried the Violet Ray on Mount Shasta for ten years. Saint Germain first arrived in his life as warmth and the scent of lavender, then as violet and gold light, and then in form in a mountain meadow.

Meditation Guide

A Violet Flame Practice

Ten minutes, anywhere. Morning light is beautiful for this practice, and so is the quiet before sleep.

  1. Arrive. Sit with your spine tall and your feet on the earth. Breathe slowly until the body feels settled and still.
  2. Enter the heart. Bring your attention to the center of your chest. Feel the spark of light that has always lived there.
  3. Ignite the Flame. See a violet fire rise from that spark, filling your heart, then your whole body, then the space around you.
  4. Call Saint Germain. Speak inwardly: “Saint Germain, I call forth the Violet Flame. Transmute all that is ready to return to light.” Feel his presence beside you.
  5. Release. Let any heaviness, memory or pattern rise into the Flame. Watch it turn to violet light and dissolve.
  6. Declare. “I AM the Violet Flame in action. I AM free. I AM the purity of God.” Repeat three times.
  7. Seal. Rest in the stillness that remains. Give thanks, and carry that violet radiance into your day.
